With the aid of the CCRI Crypto Sustainability API, we provide real-time sustainability metrics for over 20 cryptocurrencies as well as relevant ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum, NFT collections, Layer 2 solutions. Through our API, we provide direct access to our database and may also assess the climate impact of individual holdings and transactions.
If you have a specific data need, we may also provide periodic reports, e.g., for carbon accounting purposes. A snapshot of the chains in scope is shown in the CCRI Crypto Sustainability Indices. To request a demo, please reach out.
If your project is not yet part of our data set, we may support you in measuring/auditing your energy efficiency and carbon footprint. Feel free to reach out to us directly. We are capable to set up measure on virtual machines and in physical setups in our lab as we are convinced that direct node access increases data precision.
Coming from a strong academic background, we are always open to support on specific questions you might have. Our data builds on scientific studies, which we use to calibrate parameters.

We are an interdisciplinary team with strong academic background (jointly working on climate impacts of cryptocurrencies since 2017). Our growing team comes from various backgrounds such as energy economics, climate finance, data science, information systems, software engineering, and more.
